Track-and-trace nella trasformazione della carne a tecnologia RFID
Il sistema RFID BL ident di Turck offre le caratteristiche di robustezza e velocità necessarie per assicurare la tracciabilità della carne in un macello cinese
In un impianto di trasformazione della carne cinese la tecnologia RFID di Turck dimostra che il sistema BL ident con protezione da IP67 a IP69K è in grado di soddisfare sia le necessità di robustezza del settore, sia le elevate velocità di lettura/scrittura richieste nell'industria della trasformazione della carne. I tag sono integrati nei ganci per carne in modo da non essere danneggiati e da poter effettuare comunque letture affidabili e veloci.
L'amministrazione cinese ha deciso di implementare sistemi di supervisione e monitoraggio della lavorazione della carne in Cina. Il sistema supervisiona tutte le fasi del processo, a partire dall'allevamento: macellazione, lavorazione, distribuzione ai negozi e consente di risalire all'origine del prodotto a base di carne in modo da disporre di un meccanismo di preallarme per la sicurezza alimentare.
Requisiti dei clienti
Poiché ogni pezzo di carne di maiale resta appeso allo stesso gancio durante l'intero processo, era logico inserire il tag RFID nel gancio. Il tag RFID richiama le informazioni dall'anello elettronico dei maiali che arrivano al macello.
Diverse testine di lettura/scrittura sono montate accanto alla linea di trasformazione, in grado di acquisire dati da ogni pezzo di maiale lungo il processo. In caso di problemi di qualità all'esame iniziale nel macello, le relative informazioni vengono registrate nel tag RFID inserito nel gancio; il relativo pezzo di carne viene quindi deviato in una zona speciale destinata alla conservazione, al fine di evitare ulteriori lavorazioni.
Le testine di lettura/scrittura leggono i dati dal tag per tracciare i prodotti in tempo reale. Nella fase finale di confezionamento, le informazioni sulla carne di maiale vengono trasferite dal tag a un database e collegate al tag sulla confezione.
Ampia gamma di prodotti e alte velocità
Requisito fondamentale per la scelta del sistema RFID BL ident di Turck era la sua capacità di leggere e scrivere otto byte di dati "al volo", ovvero alla normale velocità di trasporto. Oltre alle otto testine di lettura/scrittura connesse, altri segnali analogici o digitali possono essere collegati a ciascun gateway BL67, che funge da interfaccia RFID. Se si richiedono altri punti di controllo, è possibile aggiungere moduli sia RFID che I/O standard. In questo modo si riducono al minimo i costi per nodo. L'ampia gamma di testine di lettura/scrittura Turck disponibili comprende modelli in grado di proteggere tag e le testine di lettura/scrittura da danni meccanici.
Soluzioni LF e UHF non idonee
Le bande di frequenza alternative quali soluzioni RFID LF e UHF non erano adatte a questa applicazione. La soluzione RFID di Turck con banda di frequenza HF è invece perfettamente in linea con i requisiti dell'applicazione, in quanto non genera interferenze con altri dispositivi. Turck ha inoltre sviluppato il tag TW-R10 che può essere integrato nel metallo del gancio per carne e quindi essere dotato di una protezione affidabile contro eventuali danni.
I tag di Turck possono memorizzare 146 byte. Tutte le informazioni necessarie possono quindi essere salvate sul tag, aumentando la sicurezza in caso di errore nel database. Il sistema HF di Turck è in grado di rilevare efficacemente i tag, evitando rallentamenti della produzione grazie all'uso della tecnologia RFID.
