Soluzioni per impianti di verniciatura
Un produttore cinese operante nel settore automobilistico utilizza stazioni BL compatte, prodotti di connettività e interruttori di prossimità Turck nel suo nuovo impianto di verniciatura
I processi di verniciatura pongono problematiche non da poco ai componenti dei sistemi di automazione. Le stazioni fieldbus BL di Turck con grado di protezione IP67 costituiscono una soluzione compatta ed economica in grado di resistere alle difficili condizioni ambientali presenti nello stabilimento del produttore cinese per il settore automobilistico e di trasferire i segnali degli interruttori del sistema di trasporto skid al controller. I prodotti per la connettività e i sensori di prossimità induttivi di Turck completano questa robusta soluzione.
Condizioni ambientali difficili nella linea di verniciatura
Il processo di verniciatura in più fasi, l'alto livello di automazione dell'impianto e il coordinamento tra i diversi passaggi, il tutto in condizioni ambientali estreme, pongono non poche difficoltà ai componenti dei sistemi di automazione. Obiettivo principale del progetto era l'automazione del sistema di trasporto per la linea di verniciatura. Tale sistema è basato su un trasportatore di skid automatizzato. Per il controllo autonomo e sicuro degli skid su binari sono necessari diversi punti di misurazione della posizione, segnali dei sensori e segnali del sistema di azionamento del motore.
Standard aperti
Le specifiche del cliente includevano l'allineamento e il controllo del robot di verniciatura e una flessibile integrazione dei sistemi di trasporto, il tutto assicurando un livello di produzione costante ed efficienza a pieno regime. Gli ingegneri responsabili richiedevano un sistema di automazione basato su un protocollo aperto, potesse essere implementato con cablaggio standard.
Per questo è stato scelto lo standard DeviceNet. Si tratta di uno standard fieldbus a protocollo aperto che offre tutta la flessibilità necessaria a soddisfare i requisiti del reparto verniciatura. Per via delle dimensioni dell'impianto era importante installare le stazioni BL compatte di Turck, che trasmettono tutti i segnali degli ingressi attraverso il cavo bus fino alla successiva stazione I/O e quindi al master. I moduli DeviceNet BL compatti di Turck, con grado di protezione IP67, sono montati sulla parete in acciaio del sistema di trasporto, lungo la linea di verniciatura, anche vicino al controller di azionamento del motore che coordina l'intero trasporto degli skid.
Il cliente utilizza stazioni BL compatte dotato di 16 ingressi digitali (BL CDN-8M12S-8DI-P), oltre alla versione più piccola con otto ingressi digitali (BLCDN-4M12S-8DI-PD). Queste formano la spina dorsale del sistema bus nella linea di verniciatura.
Massima robustezza
Le stazioni compatte sono completamente racchiuse in un involucro di resina epossidica per garantire robustezza e il grado di protezione IP69K. Anche le prestazioni termiche dei moduli sono notevoli: Sono in grado di resistere a temperature da -40° a +70°C. In questo modo, le alte temperature della linea di verniciatura non compromettono il funzionamento dei moduli. Le potenti funzioni diagnostiche delle stazioni I/O consentono al cliente di aumentare l'operatività e di garantire il livello di affidabilità richiesto. I LED sul modulo forniscono agli operatori un'indicazione locale affidabile dello stato degli ingressi. Anche i cavi di giunzione a Y abbinati e il cavo bus provengono dalla gamma di prodotti Turck.
Turck offre moduli BL compatti per segnali analogici, segnali di commutazione per il collegamento di testine di lettura/scrittura RFID o per altri tipi di segnali. Le singole stazioni BL compatte sono state dotate di processori dei segnali, per soddisfare i requisiti specifici dell'applicazione del cliente e ridurre i costi delle stazioni e dei cavi. Il sistema si adatta perfettamente all'applicazione, è di facile manutenzione e comprende sensori di prossimità, stazioni fieldbus e prodotti di connettività del portafoglio prodotti Turck.
