Molte applicazioni di imballaggio nel settore alimenti e bevande richiedono il controllo della data/codice lotto per assicurare che data/codice lotto siano stampati correttamente e siano leggibili.
Una volta stampato il codice data/lotto sugli involucri contenenti piatti surgelati, questi avanzano lungo il nastro trasportatore e il codice data/lotto viene verificato. Il robusto sensore di visione OMNI ermetico PresencePLUS P4 di Banner Engineering è un'ottima soluzione per date/codice di lotto perché utilizza riconoscimento ottico dei caratteri/OCV per assicurare che la data e il codice lotto siano corretti e leggibili. Con una custodia IP68, il sensore è l'ideale per le applicazioni del settore alimenti e bevande in quanto è in grado di resistere in condizioni di lavaggio con sostanze aggressive.

Il sensore P4 OMNI localizza facilmente l'area del magazzino scatole per cui ispezionare la data/i codici lotto, controllando il bordo della scatola. Grazie alla capacità di rilevare fino a 2.000 parti al minuto, il sensore P4 OMNI è in grado di testare rapidamente e accuratamente le informazioni confrontandole con i criteri di accettabilità e indicare lo stato dei risultati con un LED ad alta visibilità, oppure comunicare i risultati a un PC.
Il sensore Banner P4 OMNI è disponibile con copertura per l'ottica o diffusore circolare integrato IP68 ed è dotato di sensore ottico 640 x 480 CCD che assicura un rilevamento stabile dell'immagine. Gli strumenti di visione standard, ad esempio Locate, Geometric Find, Edge, Blob, Average Grayscale, Geometric Count e Measure sono compresi nella dotazione del sensore P4 OMNI.
